Nebraska Air National Guard Base

In Lincoln, our primary mission is providing In-flight Refueling to all US Armed Forces and allied nations' aircraft extending their flying range with the capability of transporting cargo, personnel and medevac operations. In addition we perform the Explosive Ordnance Disposal mission.

155th Air Refueling Wing

The 155th Air Refueling Wing (155 ARW) is the largest Air National Guard unit in the state of Nebraska. It currently operates the Boeing KC-135R Stratotanker, which has been tasked for numerous missions around the globe. The 155th Air Refueling Wing provides aerial refueling capabilities for the U.S. Air Force and the Air National Guard. Currently, this unit has approximately 1,000 Air Guard members and 8 aircraft. The unit runs like an active duty base on a smaller scale.
