148th Fighter Wing

The 148th Fighter Wing flies the F-16CM, the newest F-16 in the Air Force fleet. Its mission is to provide ready Airmen to defeat America's enemies, and to rapidly respond to state and community needs. The ""Bulldogs"" of the 148th perform Aerospace Control Alert, protecting America's skies 24 hours a day, one of only two Air Guard wings tasked to provide Suppression of Enemy Air Defense to our nation. We also actively support overseas Air Expeditionary Force and Expeditionary Combat Support.
