Selfridge Air National Guard Base

In Mount Clemens, at Selfridge ANGB, our primary missions are the Fighter and aerial refueling mission. Our focus involves air-to-air and air-to-ground operations designed to support ground forces, as well as gaining control of enemy airspace. The KC-135 Stratotanker provides the core aerial refueling capability for the United States Air Force and has excelled in this role for more than 50 years.

127th Wing

The 127th Wing is a joint DoD and Department of Homeland Security installation. Our mission is to provide trained, equipped and motivated tanker, fighter and support resources as needed. The 127th Wing supports three separate Major Commands (Air Combat Command, Air Mobility Command, Air Force Special Operations Command), flying two distinctly different missions in the KC-135 Stratotanker, an aerial refueler with global reach, and the A-10 Thunderbolt II, a close air support aircraft.
