Ground vehicles in the Air National Guard are as diverse and necessary as our many airplanes. As a Vehicle Operations Specialist, you'll learn to operate sedans, buses, utility trucks, 18 wheelers, wreckers, mounted cranes and hoists. You'll learn a variety of essential skills, including convoy operations, movement of supplies, munitions, and more. You'll be taught how to read a map and compass and to determine vehicle specifications and limitations in order to coordinate and master all aspects of ground transportation. Not only will you be hauling some expensive equipment, at time, but you'll also be responsible to transport our most precious cargo - our people.
