Every road, building, and structure in the Air National Guard requires precise engineering techniques. As an Air National Guard Engineering Specialist, you'll direct and perform a variety of task in planning and managing construction projects. You'll direct and perform civil engineering design, drafting, surveying, and contract surveillance to support construction and maintenance. You'll plan, manage, and reward construction jobs, and create blueprints and plans for building designs. You'll be relied upon as an expert in project mapping operations, construction support surveys, road operations, road construction, and building and utilities layout surveys, along with conventional and computer aided drafting. The Air National Guard's success depends on Engineering Specialists to ensure every project operates smoothly without encountering any unforeseen, costly problems. And your skills will transition into a civil engineering or architecture career.
