Aircraft Fuel Systems

Aircraft Fuel Systems

When an Air National Guard aircraft is flying, the margin for error is minimal, especially when it comes to fuel systems. These complex systems require highly trained airmen to troubleshoot and repair them, as needed. That's what an Aircraft Fuel Systems Specialist does everyday. You'll learn every inch of the fuel system. You'' inspect, repair, install, and modify the systems that deliver the fuel to the engines, including bladder cells, external and integral fuel tanks. Your work will help ensure there are no fuel system malfunctions during flight, meaning the aircrew can focus on the mission at hand and complete it successfully.
