Where Air Meets Water
Unlimited Hydroplanes are the fastest boats in the world at speeds over 200 mph. They are 28-32 feet long and weigh a minimum of 6575 pounds – yet they fly across the water on a cushion of air trapped between two sponsons. Drivers guide the hydroplane from an F-16 cockpit. The Lycoming T-55 L7C turbine engines are the same as originally used in Chinook helicopters. Join us for one of these action packed races and stop by our display to get your very own photo taken with the ANG hydroplane.
